Artist Shows How It Feels To Live With Nervousness And Discouragement

Tension is not a joke. Yet, imagine a scenario in which a carefree giggle could make things a tad bit brighter. English artist Gemma Correll draws funnies roused by her own particular tensions and melancholy. She imagines that the most ideal approach to manage this condition is to attempt to “find diversion in it.”

“I honestly think that humour can be a saviour at times of distress or, if you just live with a constant level of anxiety and depression like I do,” said Correll. “I do think that people should speak more freely about anxiety,” she added. “I know that I would have felt a little better as an anxiety-ridden teenager if I knew that I wasn’t completely alone in my fears.”
